Yes, we accept most types of advertisement by email or through Quik Cut. Formats preferred by our production staff include PDF, InDesign or Microsoft Word.

How do I supply images for advertisements?

Advertisers can supply images or an email or a physical copy may be presented for scanning. Images must be free of copyright or the advertiser must have written permission to use the image. Images must be JPEG, TIFF or PDF format. Sales representatives are available to take photographs when necessary.

What is the Kalamunda or Midland split?

The Midland or Kalamunda edition is the same apart from the advertising that is presented. All editorial within the two newspaper splits remains the same.

Where will my advertisement appear? Is it extra for pages at the front?

Echo News does charge a "page loading" for "preferred pages" at the front of the weekly edition – see your Echo News sales representative for more details.

How much space in a column?

All advertisements are based on "depth" of advert by number of columns in width. Eg; advertisement size: 10 x 3 = 10 centimetres deep by 3 columns (111mm's) wide. The width of one column is 34mm's and then each column varies in width up to a total of seven columns being the width of a page. For more information refer to the 'Specifications and Advertising Conditions'.

Is Echo News a part of any overall WA newspaper group?

Echo News has an alliance with the Perth Suburban Newspapers Group [PSN] for local and national advertising purposes “only”. The PSN group consists of the Examiner Newspapers (Armadale/Gosnells/Serpentine), Examiner (Canning – Victoria Park), Melville City Herald, Fremantle - Cockburn Herald, The Perth Voice and Subiaco Post.

Does Echo News/PSN Group have a national advertising representation in the Eastern States?

Yes, they do. There are national advertising agencies representing the PSN Group in Brisbane (The Media Workshop), Melbourne (Cameron Media) and Sydney (Gulliver Orr Fletcher Burrows).

Does Echo News/Perth Suburban Newspaper Group have their own office and a WA Group Advertising Manager?

Yes, the PSN Manager is Greg Christian and the PSN office is based at 276 Onslow Road, Shenton Park – (08) – 9388 6887.

Why does the Echo News office close at 3 pm on a Friday?

Echo News staff is only allocated a 30 minute lunch break for each working day; hence the early 3 pm finish on a Friday.

Does the Echo News distribute their newspapers into household and business letterboxes from their office?

No we do not; all Echo Newspapers are distributed into letterboxes by PMP Distribution, however all newspapers placed in dispensers are delivered by Echo News staff.
